Lordy be, writing my third (and final!) book is taking me a long time. I was initially shooting for a 2025 release, but that’s not gonna happen. Why? Because I’m getting bogged down in the minutia of it all. The story is getting very intense. I’m tackling some heavy themes.
The book will be titled “Inner Atlas.” I chose that title to refer to a metaphorical map of my internal experiences. Much like a geographical atlas maps out physical landscapes, this inner atlas will map the terrain of myself.
So far, I have completely rewritten the first chapter three separate times. I posted the first draft of the initial chapter here in order to keep a record of it:
I have spliced out certain paragraphs and rewritten that story twice now, and what was originally my first chapter has been incorporated into portions of the second. The first line of my book is now: “My first Icelandic adventure had me searching for money like a modern-day Viking.”
Hmmm, are you intrigued? I certainly hope so! I’ve been having fun writing about my adventures!
I still have two more chapters to write before it’s complete. Then, I’ll have to reread the whole thing and edit, edit, edit. All that takes time, and I could use a little help.
I’m currently looking for beta readers if anyone wants to read my current work in progress. Please leave a comment if you’re interested in collaborating.

My books Memory Road Trip (e-book, paperback) and Time Traveled (e-book, paperback) are both available! You can also find them at most major international book sites.
Final? Why so?

Writing is a time sucker. I would like to use that time to do other things. Writing is great, but life is very short…
