Garden update: March 21, 2024
First, an ode to the trees I lost in the recent months, starting with a lemon tree that would’ve been producing little lemons soon. Honestly, I won’t miss having to water this tree anymore, but I will always miss it’s intoxicating spring smells.

Next is this Mexican Bird of Paradise. This tree had been nothing but a pain in the ass the entire five years I had it. It always threatened to die, until it finally did. This plant died over the winter and has since been replaced with something entirely else (Anacacho Orchid). Wish me luck with the latest acquisition.

Now a couple of photos taken with my crappy phone showing what my back yard currently looks like:

My yard is currently a bee heaven with borage and arugula blossoms.

My Texas Mountain Laurel is bursting with flowers, making my yard smell like grape juice.
May spring (or fall, depending) treat you well wherever you are!

My books Memory Road Trip (e-book or paperback) and Time Traveled (e-book or paperback) are both available! You can also find them at most major international book sites.
