The Mourning Dove finally figured out how to jump onto the brick to get to the new seed dishes. I used to just scatter the seeds directly on the rocks since they are ground feeders, but it makes such a mess and they never find them all, so it was a very wasteful method of feeding.
White-Crowned Sparrow—a new species of bird to visit my yard this year. They are so spunky and fun to watch!

You have such an elegant set up for your bird habitat! Sorry for the late comment…I’m so busy in the garden that I can only manage to keep up about once or twice a month. Off to see what else I’ve missed of yours since I last checked. -lisa
