Impermanence

Impermanence is perhaps the least appreciated factor that underscores all existence. With every second, each and every creature has moved on to the next phase of their being, and then again the next second after that. There is no point to holding on to a single second as it exists for the moment, because soon that second will become the past. Time buries seconds and mulches the earth like fertilizer. Holding on to the past is like carrying around a fistful of manure in one’s hands as it becomes that pile of shit that people use to fling at each other.

My newest book Time Traveled is available as e-book or paperback! Buy it either at Amazon or at most major retailers.
