Some Old European Photos

There were no digital cameras in the 90s. I have shoeboxes full of photos and I only scanned a few of my favorites as digital copies.

I used to carry around two cameras. One was loaded with color film and the other was loaded with either sepia or black and white.

Here is a collection of some of my sepia favorites:

The first two are from Venice, Italy.

The next two are from the Roman Forum.

The next two are from Spain, The Dolmen of Menga and the Segovia Aqueduct.

The final one is from Belgium, looking like I snapped this picture in the 1800s.

My books Memory Road Trip (e-book or paperback) and Time Traveled (e-book or paperback) are both available! You can also find them at most major international book sites.

  1. My guess is that the canals of Venice look best in sepia, especially today. How you doin’? Back home yet? Let me know, cause I have a HUMONGOUS favor to ask of you (which, hopefully for you, you won’t be able to do) once you get back.
